Liz Rose Shulman is a writer and a teacher. She is the author of Good Jewish Girl: A Jerusalem Love Story Gone Bad, published by Querencia Press. Her writing has also appeared in Slate, The Boston Globe, Newsweek, The Chicago Tribune, Another Chicago Magazine, Los Angeles Review, Witness Magazine, and Tablet Magazine, among others. She teaches English at Evanston Township High School and in the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University. She lives in Chicago.
